Portable, battery-powered, colour CCTV for reading and writing with 4 to 16 times magnification.
Purpose: This is a very portable device that can be used for both reading and writing. It may not have as high magnification levels as some desktop CCTVs but if there is a moderate level of visual acuity this will suit users on the move. It is not suitable for those with visual impairments that require more than 16x magnification.
Features: The magnification from 4 to 16 times goes in a continuous zoom rather than stepped increments. There are colour, high contrast positive and negative modes and the device can be set up to stand up for an integral writing mode or to be sitting down with rollers for movement over text and graphics (as shown). The internal battery pack lasts for approximately 2.5 hours.
There is an accessory pack that includes a car charger, links to TV and computer monitor but it is supplied with a mains adapter for normal charging and carry case.
